Pain In Practice Online

Understanding more about pain, what it is and how it works is important. But a quick scan online and you quickly realise even the people that are trying to do this for a living aren’t completely sure. So what do you, as a clinician, do if the people studying it aren’t even sure exactly what it is? You get better at applying what you know to help the people in front of you that ask you for help.

You do not have to know everything about pain to be very, very good at helping people with painful problems get back to the life they want. For 20 years I have helped people with complex, long standing pain break the cycle of pain and disability and return to the activities that give meaning to life.

As an allied health practitioner you got started because you want to make a difference. If you want to change the world, help someone with persistent pain get back to the things they are missing out on
